I have now come to finish the novel, The Maze Runner , by James Dashner. I have to admit that even if the novel didn’t convince me right at the beginning, Dashner has successfully entertained me towards the end. The novel was thrilling , exciting and it made me reflect on both the human survival nature as well as the society’s manipulation over teenagers . After reading 62 chapters, I feel like I perfectly know most of the characters. Therefore, as my last blog post for The Maze Runner, I have decided to create Avatars of the main characters , as well as add a brief character analysis. Overall, I had lots of fun creating these avatars, hope you enjoy! Also, after reading the book I re-watched the movie and, although the movie is still far from being as awesome as the book, I was impressed by all the details in the movies, recognizing the fact that it was a very difficult movie to create. I am currently reading the book, The Maze Runner , and I have read up until chapter 50. For my new blog post I have decided to try something new, therefore, I decided to create a chapter timeline of the story so far. While creating the timeline, I found really challenging the treasure hunt for a website or template that would actually work. Initially, I downloaded a template and started working on it, but I soon found out that it was difficult to add images and text. Therefore, I proceeded my treasure hunt until I found Sutori . I was easily able to complete the Timeline but unfortunately, I couldn’t save it or print it. Consequently, I had to remove all of my pictures and take a screenshot of my timeline. The timeline consists of 7 points divided between the chapters from the first one to the 50th chapter. The Maze Runner - First Impression and Vocabulary I have recently started the novel, The Maze Runner, by James Dashner. I am currently reading chapter 4, and as I know very little about the story so far, I decided to write my first impression of the book and create a wordle. I am really enjoying the book so far. Dashner writes with an interesting flow that does not cut out the curiosity that comes as the story unravels. I am not disturbed by the many descriptions present in the book even though I might agree that the book's pace is quite slow for now.
